FRONTIER TROUBLES

TRIBES CAUSING ANXIETY United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 18, 11.50 p.m.) LONDON, March 18. The Delhi correspondent of “The Times” says that tribal conditions in Waziristan are still causing anxiety, particularly in the northern territory where the Fakir of Ipi is actively fostering an anti-Government c xmpaign and is endeavouiing to assemble the tribes for a holy war. From his sick bed, which is being carried among the tribes, he is inciting them to acts of hostility. There are no signs that he is receiving any assistance from the tribes on the Afghanistan side of the border, although he has endeavoured to do so. There are many troops in the neighbourhood, sufficient to meet any eventualities.
