SEAMAN SENTENCED Bp Telpera ph Prpm Associarinn WELLINGTON, March 18. Lawrence Davies (28), a seaman, was charged In the Magistrate’s Court to-day that, being a prohibited immigrant suffering from a contagious disease. he unlawfully landed in New Zealand. He was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, the Magistrate remarking that l e nublic must be protected.
