MURDER CHARGE
SEQUEL TO SHOOTING OF POLICE OFFICER United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, March 17 In connection with the shooting on May 25 last year Superintendent Brophy, in the City Court, Identified Geoffrey Davies (32) as the man who shot him. Davies, who is charged with having wounded Superintendent Brophy, with intent to murder him, was committer for trial.
