TIMARU WOOL SALE
TO BE HELD ON MONDAY To suit the convenience of buyers, the second Timaru wool sale of the season, which was to have been held in the Theatre Royal on Tuesday morning, will now commence at 7 p.m. on Monday. The catalogue will probably be between 23,000 and 24,000 bales. The rate of selling will determine whether the sale is completed on Monday night or whether there will be a break, and the concluding catalogue disposed of on Tuesday morning. CHEQUE FOR GROWERS B? Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, March 11. The gross proceeds from the February wocl sale at Wellington totalled £649,485/14/- for the 29,838 bales which were sold out of the 30,826 offered. The average for each bale was £2l/ 14/-, or 14.637 d per lb.
