INDIA’S FUTURE
DIFFICULTIES RAISED BY PRINCES United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received March 8, 11.15 p.m.) LONDON, March 8. "The Morning Post" learns that it will be impossible to inaugurate the Indian Federation as anticipated on April 1, 1938, and a postponement until April 1, 1939, is regarded as certain, the delay being due to the questions raised by the Princes, particularly in terms of their instruments of succession. The Princes are anxious to eliminate the possibility of the Federal Government infringing on the powers reserved to them under the Federation.
