SOCIAL NOTES
Mrs Raines, Wilson Street, is on a visit to Ranfurly. Mrs B. Pinfold, Dunedin, is a guest at the Grand.
Miss Vida Yates, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs W. Fea, Elizabeth Street. Mr and Mrs N. E. Wright and Miss N. Wright, Sydney, are visiting Timaru and are staying at the Grand.
Mrs C. Hancox has returned to Christchurch after visiting relatives in Timaru.
Miss Elizabeth Elworthy, "Craigmore," has returned from a visit to Hawke’s Bay. Miss Kathleen Kerr, Geraldine, has returned home after spending some weeks in the North Island.
Mrs R. D. Graham, Wellington, is staying with Mrs Westmacott, Nile Street.
Mrs Martin, who has been staying with Mrs R. H. Rhodes, “Carne,” Sealy Street, has returned to her home in Martinborough. Misses Elva Baylis and Ruby Richardson have returned to Christchurch after spending a holiday in Timaru.
Dr. W. H. Unwin, Miss Unwin, Mr Peter Unwin, Church Street, and Mrs Basil Unwin, “Glenaray,” Southland, left yesterday on a motor tour through the North Island.
