SCHOOL COMMITTEE At the monthly meeting of the School Committee there were presen:: Messrs R. J. Edgar (chairman), S. Cargo. W. Kennedy, H. Brosnahan (secretary) and the headmaster. It was reported that the school *copened with an increase of four on the roll. The school concert showed a nett profit of £9/10/-, and had been very successful. It was decided to communicate with the Board concerning repairs needed in the school and grounds. PING PONG CLUB After a successful season the Ping Pong Club will hold its final evening in a fortnight. The club has now a membership of 40. PERSONAL Miss G. Ward, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs Ward, the School House, Seadown.
