SCHOOL DRILL DISPLAYS
To the Editor ex " The Tlmaru Herald." Sir,—For many years I have had the pleasure of attending the annual sports meeting of the Tlmaru Boys’ High School. I enjoy every moment of it except the drill display which has been the same exactly for many years. May I ask why the drill instructors cannot vary the programme each year. Some members of the staff who have been connected with drill all their lives should be able to draw up a different programme each year.- It appears that drill instruction in the school Is Inadequate, or the pupils are below standard.—l am, etc., DISGUSTED PARENT.
