RANFURLY SHIELD
ENTHUSIASTS CAUGHT UNAWARES The intense enthusiasm manifested over the Otago-Southland Ranfurly Shield match had its reactions. Weeks of fine weather had broken a few days earlier and underfoot the rain and snow had made conditions unpleasant. Thousands waited for some time prior to the match and next day the result was that many people suffered from sore throats with attendant coughs and colds. After a football match or any other continued exposure to the elements, the wisest thing is to have a good dose of Baxter’s Lung Preserver immediately on returning home and thereby “nip in the bud” any trouble that may have been contracted. No other remedy is so pleasant to take and so prompt in giving relief, while “Baxter’s” is, of course, unique for its marvellous tonic properties. 4/6, 2/6 and 1/6 at all chemists and stores
