FOOTBALL CLUB

SENIOR TEAM DEFAULTS A special meeting of the committee of the Geraldine Football Club was attended by the president (Mr W. H. Jackson) and Messrs J. D. McKechnie, F. Sherratt, L. Neutze, D. McKay and W. McCullough (secretary). An apology was received from Mr A. N. Loach. Owing to the commencement of seasonal work, it was decided that the senior team should default to Celtic in the Berl Cup match arranged for to-morrow at Fraser Park. As the Domain Oval will be in use for the hockey tournament to-morrow, it was decided to play the fourth grade game v. Old Boys at the Secondary School grounds. The team will be as follows:—W. Lapthom, J. Leary, R. Hobbs, L. Brenton, O. Blrt, H. Hobbs, L. Brown, B. Glen, W. McCullough, P. Callanan, D. Pierce, C. Humm, W. Vial, P. Tulloch, J. Stevenson, J. Ivey.
