LEPERS AT MAKOGAI
GENEROUS RESPONSE TO APPEAL To make Christmas a little brighter for the 577 lepers isolated at Makogai, Fiji, the following additional donations are gratefully acknowledged by Mr P. J. Twomey, o" the Christchurch Gas Company:— •
Only amounts of £1 or over are acknowledged here, but Mr Twomey will acknowledge all gifts of goods or money by personal letter. Gifts sent by post for the lepers are now charged at half rates.
