FALL ON TO LINER

COURT MARTIAL DISRATES FLYING OFFICER United Press Association— Bv £l®ctrt«* Telegraph—Copyright (Received August 28. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 27. The court martial inquiry into the plane crash on the Normandie on June 26, severely reprimanded Naval Lieutenant G. K. Horsey and reduced his ranking and precedence. Diving with several seaplanes above the Normandie, which was anchored a mile off the Isle of Wight, a Baffin Air Force torpedo bomber, came into collision with the Normandie’s bows. According to an eye witness, the seaplanes were swooping, when one hit the liner’s foremost stay, turning a complete somersault, and apparently made a perfect landing on the liner’s bows.
