MOVEMENT OF SHIPPING IN BRITAIN British Official Wireless (Received November 7, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, November 6. The net tonnage of vessels in foreign trade that arrived at United Kingdom ports during September with cargo was 6.5 per cent, more than in September. 1934, but the departures with cargo declined by J.2 per cent. A review of the foreign trade movements in the third quarter of 1935 shows that the total net tonnage that both entered and cleared with cargo was the highest recorded in the third quarter of any recent year, with rises of 5.8 and 2.5 per cent, respectively compared with 1934.
