AUSTRIA SCRAPS TREATY

GERMAN EXAMPLE FOLLOWED

BUILDING UP STRONGER AIR FORCE United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 15, 8.0 p.m.) VIENNA, May 15. The Heimwehr general staff has decided to create a special flying corps. Prince Starhembetg, who recently obtained a flying license, will be com-mander-in-chief. The organisation has been entrusted to Captain Brumovsky, the Austro-Hungarian wartime ace. Detachments are being stationed in every province. Although the possession of military ’planes is not yet contemplated, the decision is regarded as an intimation that Austria is following Germany’s example in tearing up a Treaty. This will also test the Little Entente’s feeling towards the possibility of an Austrian air force.
