He has not moved for thirty-six hours. A specialist admits a definite fracture of the skull, but hopes for Shaw’s recovery. Shaw’s motor-cycle collided in a depression in the road, with a bicycle ridden by a butcher’s errand boy, Albert Hargreaves (14) who suffered mild concussion and was sent to hospital.
