POTTERY COMPANY
STATUTORY MEETING The statutory meeting of the South Canterbury Pottery and Mining Co., Ltd., was held yesterday, there being a fair attendance of shareholders. The chairman of the provisional directors, Mr C. L. Orbell, reported on the progress of the company to date, and mentioned that shareholdeis would find the remodelling of the factory at a very interesting stage at present, and that a visit would be well worth while. The company’s shares had sold well and it was anticipated that the balance of the shares would be placed without any difficulty. The following were appointed permanent directors of the company Messrs C. L. Orbell. C. S. Bruce, H. Elworthy, A. E. Smith. C. E. Kerr, H. B. S. Johnstone, and P. A. Elworthy.
