TRAP AND TRAIN
FATAL COLLISION By Telegraph—Press Association HASTINGS, May 14. A collision between the trap he was driving and the Napier-Welllngton express at the Hastings railway crossing this evening resulted in the death of Royal Lee, a chimney sweep. The horse drawing the trap which Lee was driving could not be restrained when the engine approached the crossing, and it was In the centre of the line when the collision occurred. Lee was killed Immediately, and the horse was disembowelled.
