CLAIM AGAINST PUBLICAN By Telegraph —Pres? Association WELLINGTON, May 14. In the Arbitration Court, John Healy, labourer, Lower Hutt, sought from William Carson, hotel proprietor. Taita Hotel, weekly payments not less than £l/14/4 for a period of incapacity and further weekly payments for a period of partial incapacity, or the payment of such lump sum as the plaintiff was entitled to. The plaintiff was injured by the branch of a tree when felling trees on the hotel sites under an alleged joint contract with another man. The defence denies any contract with Healy, the dealings being with the other man alone. The Court reserved judgment.
