STEADY COMPETITION IN LONDON United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—CoDyright LONDON, May 10. At the wool sales to-day, 10,445 bales were offered, including 6166 from New Zealand. About 7222 bales of Australian and New Zealand wool were sold. There was good Home and Continental competition at full recent rates. There were some withdrawals of inferior Australian sorts. New Zealand scoured merino branded R. Company T, brought top price, 23id; average, 23d. Greasy crossbred branded Glengarrie, realised 92d, the average being 72d. Half bred lamb slipe, branded TBS Canterbury, realised 14d, the average being 132 d. BEST SALE OF SEASON United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright ADELAIDE, May 11. At the wool sales to-day, competition was fully maintained, values being easily the best of any Adelaide sale this season, and probably the highest of any in Australia. The average price during the series was £l2/10/- a bale.
