JAPAN’S POLICY
NATIONAL ADVISORY COUNCIL FORMED United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received May 12, 6.30 p.m.) TOKIO, May 11. The establishment is announced of a National Policy Advisory Council of seventeen. The chairman is the Prime Minister, Mr Okada, and the vicechairman is the Minister of Finance, Mr Takahashi. The Council includes a former Prime Minister, Mr Saito, Mr Nippon Yusen, president of the Kagami Mitsui executive, Mr Ikada and numerous statesmen and prominent people. The Council’s duty is to advise the Government on most important affairs.
