WINCHESTER

PERSONAL Miss M. Moore, Winchester, is spending a holiday with her sister, Mrs A. G. Hart, “The Cliffs,” Rosewill. Miss M. Lawlor, Rakaia, is the guest of Miss Peggy South, Factory Road, Temuka. Miss R. McLeod is spending a holiday with her parents, Mr and Mrs W. McLeod, Orari Gorge.

HOCKEY CLUB’S DANCE The Winchester Women’s Hockey Club held a successful dance on Tuesday evening. There was a good attendance. An extra was played by Miss M. Lawlor. Miss M. Aker and Mr C. Loudon won the first Monte Carlo and Miss Aker and Mr G. Gould the second. Messrs W. J. Jackson and Jno Cripps were masters of ceremonies.
