COLLISION WITH BUS

PILLION RIDER KILLED By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, February 7. Severe injuries from which she subsequently died were received by Nellie Allis, aged 17, who lived at 44 Ware Street, Khandallah, when the motorcycle on which she was riding with her brother, Leslie C. Allis, aged 26, collided with a bus at the corner of Porirua Road and Khandallah Road about 8 o’clock this morning. Miss Allis received a compound fracture of the left ankle and leg and lacerated wounds to her face, left hand and arm, and her brother received a fracture of the jaw. Both were attended by a doctor at the scene of the accident and were taken to hospital by the ambulance. Miss Allis died at 8.20 p.m.
