OBITUARY

MR F. A. PRICE By Telegraph—Press Association INVERCARGILL, February 6. The death Is announced of Mr Frederick Augustus Price, a wellknown landowner and stock dealer, aged 80 years. Arriving In 1861, he followed his trade as a builder for several years, erecting the first Customs House in Invercargill. Then he embarked in farming and stock dealing, which he carried on successfully till the end. He was a keen sportsman, and among the horses he owned was Rorke's Drift, which won over £IO,OOO.
