YOUTH FATALLY INJURED

By Telegraph—presß Association INVERCARGILL. November 8. The death of a youth under unusual circumstances was the subject of an inquest which was opened at the Southland Hospitai to-day before Mr E. C. Levvey, Coroner. On November 2. according to the evidence. William Nicol. aged 17. employed on a farm at Springfields, was feeding calves, when one of them butted against him and he was thrown against the food trough. He was brought to the Southland Hospital suffering from severe abdominal injuries from which he died yesterday. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
