WOMEN’S DIVISION

ALBURY BRANCH. The Albury branch of the W.D.F.U. hdld its June meeting in the library room. Mrs Adams presided. During the winter months, it was decided to hold the meetings in the afternoon. Two trophies and a children’s prize were given to the Albury Spring Flower Show. Mrs Major and Miss Mcllwrick judged the competitions. The winners were:—Most useful knitted article, Mrs Simpson 1, Miss Austin 2. Steamed or boiled pudding, Mrs Simpson 1, Miss Fraser 2. Afternoon tea was served, and then Miss G. L. Riddle gave an address on Malay and showed some beautiful needlework that she had collected during her travels.
