“STAMP OUT GRAFT”
VIGOROUS CAMPAIGN PROPOSED IN BRITAIN. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, April 8. “The Sunday Despatch” says that warnings to “stamp out graft” issued by the Ministry of Health, have been sent to municipal authorities throughout Britain, following an investigation into councillors’ alleged acceptance of presents, not always in money from contractors. It has also been discovered that councillors are giving highly paid jobs to relatives.
