MURDER CHARGE
A FURTHER REMAND. By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, December 27. Charged with the murder of Mrs Christobel Lakey at Ruawaro, about October 15, William Alfred Bayly (28), farmer, was to-day remanded for a further eight days, until January 3. A small crowd began to assemble about the Court at 9.30, but by that time Bayly had been remanded, and was on his way back to the Mount Eden prison.
