Two newlywed young folk who are happily exploring the beauties of Auckland just now are Mr and Mrs Kenneth Myers, who arrived from London several weeks ago and are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mrs Myers, who is a bride of a very few months, is meeting New Zealand and New Zealanders for the first time. She is a Canadian, the elder daughter of Mr and Mrs Charles Pirie, of Kitchener Ontario, Canada. Mr Myers is well acquainted with Auckland, being the only son of the late Sir Arthur Myers, of Auckland, and Lady Myers, who now makes her home in London.
