Regret at the departure of the Rev. Father Henley and appreciative reference to his fine work was expressed af the monthly meeting of the Taranaki Hospital Board. Mr S. Vickers said that Father Henley had done a vast amount of social work and had also been prominent in sporting activities. To work with him had been a pleasure. Father Henley had been one of New Plymouth's outstanding social workers, said the chairman (Mr P. E. Stainton). One of the most pleasing features of tiie Mayor's Relief Council was that it recognised no creed or class, and this was well demonstrated by the work of Father Henley.
