Walker and 2410 others ol Timaru praying for an increase in the funds allocated to Timaru by the Unemployment Board and for the abolition ».f the stand down week, the Public Petitions Supplementary Committee in the House this afternoon stated that as the subject matter of the petition was one of policy it had no recommendation tomake.
