ANGLING CLUB

MEETING OF EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executive of the Angling Club was held in the Wentworth Hall, the following being present —Messrs F. M. Ward (chairman), T. O. Fox, F. T. Wilkin, J. H. Don, D, Sinclair, B. Triggs, E. G. Eliot, J. Davey, H. Davison, and E. D. Mcßae (hon. sec.). It was decided to hold a fly Ashing competition for Mr Warden’s trophy, at the coming week-end. open to any South Canterbury river, the heaviest bag to count. The minimum size of fish to be taken for this competition was fixed at 12 inches, the bag limit to be 15 fish.
