KAURI COMPANY’S IMPROVED POSITION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph —Copyright (Received December 8, 10.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, December 8. The Kauri Timber Company’s accounts for the year ended August 31, show a considerable improvement. The nett profit was £10,821. The transfer of £15,000 from the dividend equalisation fund, with the £25,327 profit earned, extinguishes the previous debit of £36.149 in the profit and loss account. A 2 per cent, dividend will be paid.
