MINIATURE RIFLES
FIRE BRIGADE CLUB The final shoot of the season for tiie Fire Brigade Miniature Rifle Club was concluded last week. No outside trophies have been won by the Chin, but the standard of shooting has bee.l very satisfactory. Considering that the shooting membership consists of ten, the fact of an “A” and “B team b > ing entered in both the Herald and Havhurst Shield competitions reflected credit both oil the standard of shooting and the enthusiasm of members. The “A” team were third in the Levvis Cup shoot, off the rifle. In the Club shoots the high average of 78 7 was maintained by J. Moore, who is the Club champion for this season. Unfortunately, one member, whose average is usually good, was unknowingly shooting with a defective rifle until nearing the end of the season, thus spoiling his own average and also mitigating against his teams sucThe results of the Club shoots during the year were as follows.Club championship and winner of the Colonel Thomas Memorial Shield for 1932—J.
