Playing in ideal conditions, the visitors led by 11 to 6 at the interval, but the Coasters lasted better, and gained the lead with the last score of the day. The winners’ try-getters were Martyn (2), L. Hughes, R. King and Schroeder, Martyn converting one try. For Wellington, O’Connor and Wilson scored tries; Masters converted one try, and kicked a penalty goal and a field goal. CANTERBURY V. WEST COAST.
