SCHOOL COMMITTEES
NOMINATIONS FOR TOWN SCHOOLS. Nominations for seats on the Committees of the Timaru primary schools closed last night. In the cases of Waimataitai, West, and South Schools, only the required number of candidates were nominated, and no ballot will be necessary. For nine seats at Timaru Main, thirteen nominations were received. The lists are as follows, an asterisk denoting membership of the retiring Committee:— Timaru Main. William Catter. •Alex.
