Dominion Meteorologist. A depression has been covering the Dominion to-day, with centres located respectively east and west of the South Island. A very intense cyclone is situated over south-eastern Australia. Expect moderate to strong winds generally, and gale force in places; northerly north of Grey mouth and Akaroa, elsewhere south-easterly. A temporary southerly change is likely to extend soon a.; far north as Cook Strait. Seas becoming rough generally. Weather unsettled, cloudy, and misty, with fairly general rain, and some heavy falls; thunder in places.
