COMMONWEALTH GRANT UNLIKELY. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 26, 11.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, January 26. Air Commodore Kingsford Smith has received a hint that there is no hope of the Commonwealth Government finding him an aviation job, or providing a subsidy for the London air mail, owing to shortage of funds. Kingsford Smith stated to-day that he would probably go to New Zealand to reside. Piloting the Southern Cross Kingsford Smith made many pleasure flights over the city to-day, carrying seventeen passengers on each trip.
