CARNERA DEFEATS FRENCH ! CHAMPION. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 26, 7.30 p.m.) PARIS, January 25. In a ten-round bout, Camera beat the French heavy-weight, Maise Bouquillon, in the second round, after the latter had been down four times and finally until the count of eight, the referee stopping the contest. Bouquillon fought pluckily, but was unable to reach his giant opponent.
