THREAT OF “GO-SLOW” STRIKE. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright CAPETOWN, March 17. Anticipating the enforcement of “cuts,” railway artisans, on April 1, will make a joint deputation. Artisans and Trade Unionists are coming from Johannesburgh, to present an ultimatum to the Minister to withdraw the “cuts,” otherwise a “go slow” strike will begin immediately. The Minister hinted that the “cuts’ be limited probably to half a year.
If the deputation fails, the men will develop a dispute leading to the appointment of a judicial commission.
