NEW SOUTH WALES FARMERS.

Resisting Forced Sales. AUCTIONEER FAILS TO ATTEND. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Coprrlght (Received March 18, 9.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, March 18. An Albury message states that the sequel to the recent determination of Rand farmers to resist the selling-up of any of their number for default was the massing of about two hundred men where a sale was advertised to take place. Horsemen went from farm to farm telling every man that he was required to attend the sale and assist, if occasion demanded, in preventing one of their number being a victim. There was a ready response, which proved that farmers were in earnest to resist forced sales. The auctioneer, however, did not put in an appearance, and the men dispersed, resolving to return if needed.
