In a fortnight’s billiard match at Sheffield, Davis, who received 7000, has made 9977, including a break of 1440. Lindrum has scored 5066, including breaks of 1761 and 818 unfinished. Yesterday, the opening day, both made breaks exceeding 1000, which is a world’s record.
