SIX MILLION LOAN MOOTED. United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright (Received February 8, 5.5 p.m.) CANBERRA, February 8. The Loan Council has approved ol the immediate raising of a loan oi £6,000,000 to aid the wheat growers. Of this sum, £3,500,000 will be applied to a bounty of 6d a bushel on wheat exported in the 1830-31 season. The balance, £2,500,000, will be available to States to help necessitous farmers.
