1 NOTES. ; 'ZL, ( The John arrived on Saturday morn- • ing from Dunedin, and after loading for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato Heads, sailed in the afternoon for Lyttelton. The Port Waikato was despatched ; for "Dunedin on Saturday. She dis- ■ chjtrged a part cargo of Ausralian hargwood poles at Timaru, and loaded general cargo for Tauranga and WWjbigarei. The Katoa arrived yesterday from . Lyttelton. To-day she is to discharge northern cargo and load for Westport and Sydney. The Holmdale arrived at 6.30 on Saturday evening from Oamaru, to load for Wellington and Wanganui. She should go on to Lyttelton to-day. The Totara, from Oamaru, is set down to call to-day for Wellington and New Plymouth loading. The Breeze, on the Wellington and Wanganui run, is due to-morrow from Oamaru. The Progress, which is scheduled for Wednesday, is to take Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato cargo from Timaru. The Opihi is set down for Thursday from Oamaru, for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth loading. Oversea z. The Anglo-Canadian is expected to reach Timaru about February 21st from Dunedin. The vessel is to load wool at this port, proceeding direct to Dunkirk (France) on Monday. The Golden Cloud is due about Saturday from Lyttelton. She has general cargo from Pacific Coast ports of America for discharge here.
