(Received February 8, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 8.

England’s film land is astounded at Charlie Chaplin’s bargain with Moss Empire’s Limited, to present the film “City Lights” at the Dominion Theatre, London. Chaplin is receiving 60 per cent, of the box office takings. Assuming that the house is filled three times daily, the receipts amount to £12,000 weekly. So that a run of twelve weeks will assure Chaplin of £90,000. When he left London Charlie was earning 40 A a week.
