SYDNEY WOOL SALE. MARKET SLIGHTLY HIGHER. (United Press Association— By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received February 3, 10.50 pm.) SYDNEY, February 3. At the wool sale, the offering totalled 9807 bales, of which 9594 were sold, with exceptionally good competition from the Continental section, supported by Bradford. The market, as compared with closing rates of last week, was par to five per cent, higher on all spinners wools. Japanese inquiry was very restricted, Greasy Merino brought 23id. POINT STOCK SALE. The fortnightly stock sale at Pleasant Point was held yesterday, good entries being received. The sale was inclined to drag, and prices were in favour of buyers. The following ‘ifllps were made under the hammer.
