NAVAL EXERCISES.
VALUE OF RECENT MANOEUVRES. (United Press Association—By PT.ectri. Telegraph—Copyright. 1 SYDNEY, June 13. The mimic battle waged during tbd week-end has established the value ox combined exercises by the Australian naval squadron and the New Zealand light cruisers. It is reasonably certain that the two squadrons will combine la important manoeuvres each year. Arrangements are already being made for a visit by the Australian ships to the Dominion next year. H.M.S. Dunedin and H.M.S. Dlomeda are now anchored at Hervey Bay with the Australian ships, and preparations are now being made for exercises off the land at FYaser Island.
