Mr F. L. Woolei. Wind strong westerly to Southerly; weather cold and showery. Dominion Meteorologlit. Evening forecast:—The recent depression is nbw centred south-east of New Zealand. A moderate anti-cyclone was located this morning over central Australia, and is advancing eastward. Expect moderate to strong north-west to westerly winds, later backing to south-west; seas still rotigh generally in New Zealand waters, but .decreasing gradually. Weather still unsettled, with further showers, more especially in Western districts, but improving from the northwards. Cool temperatures.
