The Federal steamer Hertford arrived in the roadstead yesterday morning Tfrom Lyttelton, but owing to the range in tho harbour is not expected to berth till to-day. The vessel is to ship, frozen meat and general cargo tor £he United Kingdom. The Kurow was expected to sail from Port Craig yesterday for Timaru, and is due to-day to load for Wellington and Auckland. Under favourable conditions she will sail tho same day for Lyttelton. The Union Co.’s steamer Karetu, to discharge a quantity of coal and general cargo from Australia, is expected on Tuesday from Lyttelton. The Kamo, on the Wellington, Napier and Gisborne run, is scheduled to call on Tuesday front Oamaru. The Union Co. expect the Totarai on Tuesday from Oamaru, to load for New Plymouth.
