MEETING OF COUNCIL. Bv Teb-crttoh—Press Association PALMERSTON NORTH, April 2S. The Agricultural College Council met to-dav, when the Hon. George l'owlds, chairman, expressed plcasiue at tl progress of organising work, and said that some of the initial difficulties were being cleared up. Material promoshad been made as a result of a joint conference held in Wellington on Tuesday between representatives of the Dairy Produce Board, tlie Researcl Council, the Agriculture Department, and the College Board. Agreement was come to regarding the spheres of operations of each body. A composite centre is to be formed to supervise generally the activities in dairy rescnrcli. M r Fowlds stated that the Dairy Produce Board was contributing £3OOO towards tho cost of dairy research for tho ensuing veatn ■
