DROUGHT LASTS THREE YEARS.

FEARFUL CONDITIONS IN QUEENSLAND. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received April 28, 10.30 p.m. BRISBANE, April 28. The drought in the central and western districts threatens to drive pastoralists off their holdings. Conditions are described as fearful, and as many ewes are lambing, the owners are unable to move tbe Btoclc to other pastures. Indications are that the pastoralists will have to pass another rainless winter, after three years of drought. Many are unable to decide whether it is worth while to pay the cost of artificial feeding or let sheep take their chance.
